Terms of service.

By visiting speedyspin.net, dropping off a garment at a Speedy Spin branch, or booking a pickup, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the services. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean Speedy Spin Dry Cleaning, owned and operated by Zainabu in Kampala, Uganda.

Speedy Spin operates dry cleaning and laundry services from two branches in Kampala:

• Kibuli — Kibuli Road, near Kibuli Mosque.
• Namuwongo — Namuwongo Road, opposite the market.

Standard hours are Mon–Sat 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Public holidays may affect availability — we post branch-specific notices on Instagram and Facebook.

Prices on the Pricing page are our standard list. Individual items may attract a small surcharge for size, embroidery, or specialist stain treatment — the receptionist will always confirm the final quote before the garment enters the machine.

Payment is due on collection unless we’ve agreed otherwise (e.g. monthly office contracts). Cash, mobile money, card and WhatsApp-issued payment links are all accepted.

• Standard turnaround is 48 hours; same-day service is available for shirts, trousers, dresses and light laundry dropped before 10:00 AM.
• You’ll receive an SMS the moment your order is ready. Collection is free within 30 days of that message.
• Items uncollected after 90 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of at Zainabu’s discretion. We’ll always try to reach you before that step.

Every garment is tagged and inspected on intake. Existing damage or stains are photographed and noted. We take reasonable care with your garments and follow the fabric-care instructions on the label.

If a garment is lost or damaged in our care, our liability is capped at UGX 500,000 per item as standard. Higher-value cover is available on request for wedding gomesi, bespoke suits, or vintage pieces — please tell the receptionist on intake and we’ll issue a written cover note.

Free pickup and delivery are available within Kibuli, Kabalagala, Muyenga, Namuwongo, Nsambya and Bugolobi. Areas outside these zones are quoted on request. A responsible adult must be present at the pickup and delivery address.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to interfere with, disable, or overload the site or its APIs.
• Use the contact form for unsolicited marketing or spam.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.

All content on this site (text, photography, the Speedy Spin wordmark) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may link to individual pages but please don’t republish or rebrand our content without written permission.

We provide the website and services “as is”. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted access or that every prediction of turnaround will hold in every case (Kampala has power cuts and traffic). We’ll always communicate as early as we can when a delay is unavoidable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any dispute we can’t resolve amicably goes to the courts of Kampala.
